GEORGE NEWS - The Western Cape Blood Service (WCBS) has only one day of blood stocks left and is having a special blood donation drive today, Thursday 26 November, at their premises in George.
Blood donations can be made at the Medical Centre, Courtenay Street, from 10:00-16:00 today, and between 10:00 and 15:00 tomorrow, Friday 27 August.
"We urgently call on blood donors to please come forward and donate. Our message is that a single blood donation can mean the universe to someone," is the plea of Arlecia November, spokesperson for the service.
*Every successful donation receives a pair of out-of-this-world WCBS socks.
