GEORGE NEWS - Blood donors supported Western Province Blood Transfusion Service's (WPBTS) Big Blood donation drive today, Saturday 21 April, at the Outeniqua Family Market.
The drive was supported by donors of all ages.
Donors from as far as Sedgefield and Centurion made time to donate blood after their social gatherings at the market.
Each donor was placed in a comfortable chair for about ten minutes to reach 475 ml of blood, which can save three lives.
One donor, Patricia Enrick, donated blood for the 26th time today!
Algoa FM offered each donor a swirl bottle after their donation.
Patricia Enrick is a regular donor. Today is her 26th time.
