GEORGE NEWS - February is the month of love and Oakhurst Insurance staff had the opportunity to get their creativity flowing by hand-crafting more than 300 cards with heart-warming messages for Valentine’s Day.
These cards included sweet treats and were distributed to orphans and vulnerable mothers from various establishments in George.
The places visited by Oakhurst staff included Kidstop Children’s Home in Borchards, Bethesda Child and Youth Centre in Rosemoor, Môreson Children’s Home in Denneoord and Phambili, a refuge shelter for mothers in Rosemoor.
The response was sheer joy and excitement on receiving their cards, expressing their heartfelt gratitude.
This initiative made the Oakhurst staff really proud that they were able to live their company’s motto of ‘We really care, we deliver’.
