GEORGE NEWS - Pacaltsdorp Police are asking for help from the public to trace the family of a woman whose body was found next to the N2 on Saturday 20 July.
The unknown victim was dressed in blue skinny denim, an orange long-sleeved T-shirt and a black jacket with a zip and elastic at the bottom.
She has long braided hair, and a light complexion and is estimated at the age of between 18 and 20, or older.
Southern Cape police spokesperson Sergeant Chris Spies says the body was found by a traffic officer who was patrolling the highway.
"Police were dispatched to the scene and on arrival found the woman with several stab wounds. The victim was later declared deceased by paramedics on the scene," said Spies.
Circumstances surrounding this killing are under investigation.
