GEORGE NEWS - A culpable homicide docket was opened after a 32-year-old man was hit and killed by a car in Ngcakani Street, Thembalethu, on 16 November at about 23:10.
It is believed that the man was crossing the road when he was hit by a white VW Polo.
The vehicle left the scene.
On arrival, police found the victim who had sustained multiple injuries. He was declared deceased on the scene by paramedics.
The suspect has been traced and identified, and the necessary procedures to address his case are in progress.
