The SWD Dental Clinic introduces state-of-the-art machines and dental cosmetic procedures to George. Their equipment includes the Cerec machine, one of the latest dental technology tools that enables the dentist to fabricate dental crowns, inlays, veneers and bridges in one dental appointment.
They also offer digital X-rays, one of the newest X-ray techniques around which help lower radiation, as well as the Brite Smile teeth whitening machine, a professional and safe teeth whitening system. Their sterilising room has one of the best sterilising systems on the market.
The partners in the clinic, Drs Dewald Scholtz and Gavin Williams are not new to George. Dr Scholtz has a special interest in implantology and Dr Williams in endodontics (root canal treatment). Dr Williams lectures on endodontics for a Swiss dental company, FKG.
They have been practising in George as partners for several years, but have decided to move their rooms from the Medical Centre De Necker George, to the modern Church Corner, which is centrally situated and more convenient for patients. They celebrated their opening with clients and friends at a cocktail function on the premises on Thursday night.
