The development consists of 57 new one-bedroom units, assisted units and two-bedroom units. The frail care houses 16 sick bays, 20 life-rights apartments and other amenities.

The developers have signed an agreement with Badisa, that has extensive experience in healthcare management. Badisa will provide a hospitality service to all the residents in the development, which will include medical assistance, catering, laundry and general assistance.
Christian network service: Badisa has ties with the Hartenbos Dutch Reformed Church that will provide an extended Christian network service via satellite and personal interaction to the Heuwelsrust Retirement Village for those who are in need. The development is earmarked to start in April and to be completed in about 17 months.
