GEORGE BUSINESS NEWS - The Easycare Health team's vision is to provide quality, affordable and accessible healthcare to the people who need it, says founder Dr John Beneke.

Easycare opened its doors in October 2018 and has since received very good support from local clients and businesses. While working in George as general practitioner for the last five years, Beneke acquired an MBA (GIBS) at the University of Pretoria and a diploma in occupational health at UCT. Beneke also has a passion for sports medicine and has served as SWD rugby team doctor for the last four years. Further plans are to run a sports injury and rehabilitation clinic at the premises. Beneke grew up in George from the age of five and matriculated at Outeniqua High School in 2000. "It is a privilege to be involved and make a difference in the community where you grew up," he says.
Primary Health Care: For minor ailments and treatments, vaccination, wellness management and family planning, Sr Louise Steyn, who has 37 years of experience, will gladly assist you.
Occupational Health Medicals: Sr Hanneli Ceronio (OpusMed) does Pre-employment, Periodic and Exit medical examination. These medicals are compulsory for employees exposed to certain risks at work. Medicals include audiograms, lung function tests, vision screening and further indicated tests.

Easy-Ultrasound: Hendor Wynne (Hendors Diagnostics) is one of the few well-trained and qualified sonographers in South Africa. Hendor is a level 3 Obstetric Ultrasonographer and specialises in Pregnancy (3D and 4D), Abdominal, Gynae and Prostate scans. Further scans available: Vascular (Carotid Doppler and DVT), Small Parts (testes, thyroids, breasts) and Musculoskeletal (muscles, ligaments and tendons).
Antenatal Care: Midwife, Sr Sarah Struwig, specialises in antenatal and postnatal care. She will assist all pregnant ladies with their bookings, examinations and monthly follow-up care.
Aviation Medicals: Dr Percy van Wyk is well-known for his speciality in Aviation Medical Examination. He also stands in as a Locum doctor at times.
