BUSINESS NEWS - Mahindra George is proud to announce it sold its 100^th new vehicle on 21 July, since being bought by the Platina Motor Group in December 2021.

Dana Rossouw, sales manager of Mahindra George, says: “The Platina Motor Group took over the Mahindra George dealership in York street on 1 December 2021.”

Rossouw said: “We’re very pleased with our 100^th vehicle achievement. I think we have done well, especially in the current economic climate. I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished in seven and a half months.

“We service the whole Garden Route area. Many are under the impression we only sell new Mahindra vehicles, but our used vehicle division also forms part of a huge portion of our business. We sell a wide variety of used vehicles. Our very dynamic sales team consists of Lucinda, Brian, Marius and Dewald.”

Economical

Mahindra George sells one of the smallest, most economical SUVs on the market, the Mahindra KUV 100, right through to the Scorpio S11.

The Mahindra range is known for being strong, robust and reliable, built for South Africa roads.

“Being part of the Platina Motor Group puts us in the position of having stock at hand at all times,” Rossouw says.

The Exciting new Scopio N and the XUV700 models will be launched by the end of the year, so watch this space, Rossouw says.

One of the pluses of buying a Mahindra is that several models come with a five-year, 150 000km warranty, and as an addional service, Mahindra George can offer a further years’ unlimited kilo warranty.

In terms of new vehicles, the Mahindra KUV 100 starts at R162 999, single-cab bakkies start at R181 999 and the large Scorpio SUV range starts at R369 999.
