BUSINESS NEWS - A morning event hosted by the South African Council for Businesswomen (SACBW) on Thursday 26 February brought together a group of women entrepreneurs and professionals for an inspiring programme focused on personal growth and connection.
The event created a platform for women in business to share experiences, build relationships and encourage one another in their professional and personal journeys.
The guest speaker, Irene Ellis, founder of IreneEllisArt, spoke on confidence. She said that authentic confidence begins internally, rooted in self-awareness and strengthened when individuals step boldly into their purpose.
Ellis also introduced aspects of her “Art of Attention” expressive art workshop, which helps participants reset their creativity and mental clarity through mindful art practices.
In conclusion, SACBW chairperson, Tarina Els, said the value of networking extends further than exchanging business contacts.
"The morning highlighted the importance of building genuine relationships and creating a space where women can uplift and support one another. I encourage you to carry the message of confidence beyond this event into your businesses, homes and daily lives.
"The conversations, laughter and openness among the ladies who attended made the morning very special."
