A lot of planning and effort went into the design and building of the show stand, which was made to emulate a European shopfront with café style awnings.
Artisan Joinery manufacture high quality hand-painted kitchens (both freestanding and fitted), bespoke fine furniture, fantasy children's beds as well as shopfitting. They are dedicated to producing quality products from the best natural materials and providing excellent service.
You will not find any chipboard, masonite or melamine in their work, only quality timbers from sustainable forests.
Their signature style is guided by the Shaker principles of elegant simplicity along with exquisite craftsmanship. Sought after pieces include their freestanding Carrara marble top island unit and their unfitted butler sink unit with solid oak worktops that captured the attention of many of the visitors to the expo.
Many architects, carpenters and designers commented on the high quality and excellent design of their work. After the exposure at the Homemakers Expo they have been inundated with enquiries and are now creating freestanding kitchen units and bespoke furniture for numerous clients in the Cape. Orders have also come in from Namibia to Qatar.
