Update
WILDERNESS NEWS - George Municipality is aware of the ongoing water supply issues affecting Wilderness, Kleinkrantz, Hoekwil, and the surrounding areas.
The main supply line was reactivated yesterday afternoon, but the network is not refilling as expected.
Water is flowing from Akela Reservoir to the Ebb and Flow Water Works, but it is not reaching the Ebb and Flow reservoir.
The municipality suspects the presence of air pockets in the pipelines, which may be restricting water flow and causing a pressure drop.
Various teams are dispatched throughout the network to scour the pipelines in an attempt to resolve the issue.
A 35000-litre water tanker has been dispatched to roam Kleinkrantz, with the big red Fire Truck stationed at the old Kleinkrantz Resort, and one will be stationed at Waves Garage, Wilderness East.
