Update
GEORGE NEWS - George Municipality is progressing well with preparations to install a temporary pipeline to restore water supply to Wilderness.
All required materials have been secured, and the route for the temporary line is being cleared.
The pipe is expected to be in place by Sunday night. "We remain on track to have the temporary line operational by Monday."
The investigation to locate the pipe blockage is still underway.
In parallel, teams continue to investigate the blockage in the original pipeline. This process is ongoing due to difficult terrain.
"The public is thanked for their patience and cooperation."
