GEORGE NEWS - Municipal teams and the contractor remain on site in Wilderness, working in difficult weather and steep terrain.
Water supply via the temporary pipeline is still expected to be restored by tomorrow. Further updates will be shared through George Municipality's official channels.
Please do not contact the George Fire Department for outage updates. Their lines are overloaded and must remain open for life-threatening emergencies only.
A Fire Department truck will remain stationed at Waves Garage today. Two trucks wiil be roaming the area.
One of the roaming trucks will be at the corner of Seven Passes and Whites Roads from 10:00–11:00. After 11:00, this truck will be roaming again.
Businesses needing bulk water may collect from Ebb & Flow.
