GEORGE NEWS - Notice is hereby given that the water supply will be interrupted on Tuesday, 10 February, from 07:30 to 18:00 in Panther and Artillery Street.
The interruption is necessary to allow for the commissioning of a newly constructed water pipe as part of essential infrastructure upgrades.
Consumers are advised to treat the installation as live for the full duration of the shutdown, as the water supply may be restored at any time within the notified period. Residents may also experience low water pressure while the work is underway.
During the construction period, temporary disruptions to municipal water services may occur in surrounding areas. Road users and pedestrians in Panther and Artillery Street are urged to exercise caution and remain mindful of ongoing construction activities.
Should any unforeseen circumstances delay the planned work, the water outage will be rescheduled to Wednesday, 11 February, from 07:30 to 18:00.
For project enquiries, residents can contact Mr Ethan Leen on 044 801 9163.
George Municipality apologises for the inconvenience and thanks residents for their co-operation and understanding during this essential infrastructure improvement project.
