GEORGE NEWS - There is a planned water outage for part of Heatherlands on Monday 24 February from 08:00 until 14:00.
George Municipality is undertaking a replacement of a 160mm diameter water pipe in Barrie Road, Heatherlands, between Erica Road and Plantation Road.
The following streets will be affected:
- Barrie Road
- Plantation Road
- Erica Road
- Witpeer
During the construction period, there may be temporary disruptions to municipal water services in the surrounding areas.
Road users and pedestrians in Barrie Road and adjacent areas are advised to exercise caution and be mindful of construction activities. Flag personnel will be available to direct when necessary.
In the event of any unforeseen circumstances that delay the planned work, the water outage will be rescheduled to Tuesday 25 February from 08:00 to 14:00.
