GEORGE NEWS - There is a planned water outage for a large portion of George on Wednesday 15 January from 06:00 to 21:00 for the commissioning of the newly constructed potable water pipeline.
The following areas will be affected:
- Welgelegen
- All properties from Kraaibosch up to Victoria Bay
- Parts of Wilderness
- BP & Sasol filling stations
- Victoria Heights
Consumers are warned to treat the installation as being live for the full duration as the supply may be resumed at any time within the notified period. Low water pressure might also be experienced during this period.
A water truck will be provided to supply the community with water during the water interruption period.
Should circumstances prevent the work being carried out during the above mentioned period, the work will be done on Thursday 16 January from 06:00 to 21:00
