Die eenheid vir dowes wat pas by Carpe Diem skool in George geopen is, bring nuwe hoop vir ouers wat voorheen hul dowe kinders op 'n baie jong ouderdom moes wegstuur vir vroeë skoolopleiding. Dit is die eerste van sy soort in die Suid-Kaap omdat dit kinders van so jonk as drie jaar kan inneem.
