Bure kry hulp in Dormehlsdrift
Goeie buurmanskap het 'n nuwe betekenis gekry nadat Georgiet Helga Barkhuizen 'n grootse poging aangewend het om haar buurman se ondersteuning vir haar deur die afgelope jaar te beloon - met 'n nuwe laag verf vir sy huis en 'n skoongeskoffelde tuin. Dis binne net een dag gedoen en sonder sy medewete. Om dit moontlik te maak, het Barkhuizen die George-jeugraad en 'n klomp borge se hulp ingeroep. Gevolglik was haar bure, Chris Olivier en Nina Verwey, se huis in Creightonstraat, Dormehlsdrift, op Saterdag 25 Februarie 'n gewerskaf van die eerste water.
