Werkersdag buite gevier
Talle aktiewe en minder aktiewe Georgiete het Vrydagoggend, 1 Mei nie net Werkersdag gevier nie, maar ook gedeeltelike vryheid. Dit was die eerste dag sedert die begin van die inperking dat Suid-Afrikaners toegelaat is om buite hul huise te mag oefen en meeste inwoners het van dié geleentheid gebruik gemaak om bene te rek.
