The Rise Against Hunger Foundation
Mediclinic George and Geneva staff in cooperation with the Rise Against Hunger Foundation spent the whole morning today, Thursday 20 October, packing 13 000 meals for poor families in and around George. "One of these meals feeds a family of six and we wanted to do our bit for the hungry in the George area. The meals are being distributed among 16 local welfare organisations," said Jana Boshoff, co-ordinator of the project for Mediclinic in George.
