Clear River Campaign
The Department of Water and Sanitation (DWS) in the Western Cape, in collaboration with the Breede-Gouritz Catchment Management Agency and the George Municipality, launched the Clear Rivers Campaign in George at the Schaapkop River, at the back of Thembalethu. This campaign is closely associated with volunteer activities that are linked to Mandela Month. The Schaapkop River runs through Thembalethu and supports Thembalethu farmers with irrigation water.
