ENTERTAINMENT NEWS - 'The Art of Christmas', a market being hosted by the South Cape Association for Visual Arts at the George Museum, offers a selection of locally produced art, crafts and nature-inspired goods.
The market concludes on Saturday 20 December at 12:00.
Coffee and sweet treats from popular vendors including Prince of Tarts, The Neighborhood Barista and Rosenhof are served at the al fresco coffee shop.
Hours today (Friday 19 December) are from 10:00 to 18:00 and on Saturday from 10:00 to 12:00.
On Saturday there will also be free face-painting for children presented by Tirsa from Paint Your Face and visitors will be able to enjoy live music performances by Luca.
Ample parking is available at the back of the museum which is accessible from Caledon Street.
In addition to the market, Scava is also presenting an art exhibition in the Sayer's Auditorium of the museum that visitors can view.
A variety of art and craft works are available.
