GEORGE ENTERTAINMENT - The George Society of Arts Theatre is set to transport audiences to the shadowy streets of Victorian London with its upcoming production of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.
This acclaimed musical, filled with suspense, drama, and unforgettable songs, will run from 29 October to 8 November.
The gripping story follows Sweeney Todd, a barber returning from wrongful imprisonment, who seeks revenge in the most chilling way.
Alongside his accomplice Mrs. Lovett, whose infamous pies hide a macabre secret, Todd’s tale is one of dark humour, haunting melodies, and twisted justice.
Performances will take place nightly at 19:00, with 14:00 matinees on both Saturdays - ideal for those who prefer afternoon theatre.
Staged by a talented local cast and crew, Sweeney Todd promises a production that combines powerful storytelling with a thrilling musical score.
