GEORGE NEWS - After two years' absence the popular variety charity show Cabaret returns to the stage at De Dekke Restaurant in Great Brak River on Wednesday and Thursday, 18 and 19 May.
Performances include singing, dancing and humour, as well as a bit of pathos. There are new exciting artists from our area, and also well-known, popular, established performers.
It is a show that supports charity, and the beneficiaries this year are Caws 4 Paws and Great Brak Child Welfare, both exceptionally worthwhile causes.
Tickets are available at R150 each, and tables of four or eight can be booked for groups. Waiters will be on hand to serve drinks and a variety of meals.
Doors open at 18:00 and the show starts at 19:00.
The show is produced and directed by Petro Taute and the musical director is the renowned talent, Petronel Baard.
Tickets can be booked through Julia on 082 654 9995 or Petro on 083 287 6958.
The high-kicking Golden Girls are an integral part of the annual show.
