Lamarr invented spread spectrum and frequency hopping, which eventually led to the development of Bluetooth and Wifi technology.
Her life history is captured in a spectacular one-woman show performed by award-winning actress Heather Massie.
Massie studied Astrophysics with dreams of becoming an astronaut, and combined her love of art and science in the show. Hedy! The Life & Inventions of Hedy Lamarr is set to inspire and encourage young women in their endeavours of science and technology.
