GEORGE ENTERTAINMENT NEWS AND VIDEO - The annual cabaret at De Dekke in Great Brak River drew a whopping 450 people on Wednesday and Thursday night, 7 and 8 November One and all had great fun while supporting a good cause.
The show, with the theme "60 minutes around the world", is organised by Petro Taute in aid of local children and the cabaret was directed by Petronel Baard, known for her smoky, sultry voice and fabulous stage presence.
Amateurs and local artists shared their talents and time for free and the guests enjoyed the evening of musical globetrotting.

Baard accompanied the artists on piano, supported by Boesman Keyser on sax and Elna le Roux on flute. Last year R19 500 was donated to charities. This year the funds raised is in aid of Child Welfare Great Brak River and Diepkloof Kleuterskool in Glentana.
