4 March:
Piano recital by Christian-Peter Hiemstra (15) at the DR Mother Church at 18:30.
The George Music Society’s very first concert of the year.
Tickets for this brilliant young pianist’s performance will be available at the concert at R170 for adults, R50 for learners and R120 for members.
4 - 7 March:
The Wind in the Willows, a musical (19:00) at the George Arts Theatre. A total of 10 stage performances, packed with whimsy, fun and adorable woodland creatures.
This musical will make you laugh and sympathise with the beloved characters as they embark on their adventures and misadventures in this classic tale of friendship and bravery. Book your seats on Webtickets (R120-R150).

5 March:
Roll Over Beethoven with saxophone player Andrew Young, (19:00) at the Market Community Theatre. Tickets are R180 on Webtickets or www.andrewyoung.net.

17 March:
Piano performance by Dr Amit Yahav (18:30) at the George Arts Theatre, presented by the George Music Society. This multi-award-winning London-based pianist will present a programme featuring works by great composers, including Frédéric Chopin and Robert Schumann.
Known for his depth of interpretation and technical brilliance, Yahav is regarded as one of the leading pianists of his generation. Book tickets at the Arts Theatre at R170, R120 (members) and R50 (learners).

20 March:
Live music performance by Katy O, a Swiss folk rock singer at the Market Community Theatre (20:00). Tickets are R120. This international singer will host a workshop in songwriting on the same day, from 14:00 to 17:00. If you are a songwriter, book for her masterclass. Maximum five persons. 27 - 28 March:
In the Silence, a contemporary dance production at the Market Community Theatre. This production is a collaboration between the George based Bradwell Dance Collective and Cape Town's Rebirth Dance Company.

Twins in Tune (19:30) at the Market Community Theatre. Presented by the George Music Society, sisters Lizanne Barnard and Anne-Marie van Eeden takes audiences on a musical and storytelling journey shaped by alifetime of shared roots.
Their distinctive blend of voice, piano, accordion, and flute creates a rich and memorable musical experience that has captivated audiences across Europe. Tickets cost R120 (members) and R50 (learners) and are available at the theatre and www.georgemusicsociety.co.za.

10-11 April:
Eterna at the George Arts Theatre. The eternal cycle of the four seasons, the love story of Eterna, Guardian of the Earth, and Solas, Keeper of the Sun. Eterna blends dramatic storytelling, evocative visuals and immersive soundscapes to bring the four seasons to life on stage.
Dr Ronell van Aswegen is the writter and director. Musicians: Eden Camerata Chamber Choir with director André van Zyl. Soloists: Daniël Verster, Gerrit Jordaan, Throy Petersen.
