ENTERTAINMENT NEWS - A landmark contemporary dance collaboration between George and Cape Town will take to the stage later this month with the production In the Silence.
Presented by the BradWell Dance Collective, in partnership with the Rebirth Dance Company from Cape Town, the production brings together professional performers and emerging dancers.
In the Silence explores the powerful question of what truly happens in silence.
Through expressive choreography and dynamic ensemble work, the performance reflects on themes of suppressed emotion, resilience, memory and healing.
The BradWell Dance Collective, founded by George-based dance coach Bradley Zeelie, aims to develop strong and expressive dancers while promoting personal growth and community upliftment through the performing arts.
The Rebirth Dance Company is known for its mentorship-driven programmes that empower young people through dance.
The production is in collaboration with the Rebirth Dance Company from Cape Town.
In the Silence will be performed at the Market Theatre in George at 19:00 on 27 March and at 15:00 and 18:30 on 28 March. Tickets are R100 for adults and R80 for children.
