GEORGE NEWS - The George Music Society presents An afternoon at the Opera at the George Arts Theatre on Sunday 25 November.
Guests will be entertained by a sparkling programme of well-loved operatic arias, duets and trios by Mozart, Donizetti, Rossini, Delibes, Offenbach, Verdi and Mascagni, showcasing three of South Africa's top young operatic voices from the University of Cape Town (UCT) Opera School.
Brittany Hope Smith (soprano), Ané Pretorius (mezzo) and Luvuyo Mbundu (baritone) will be accompanied by the opera school's head vocal coach, Dr Lisa Engelbrecht, on the piano.
