GEORGE NEWS - The women’s support organisation, Team Strong Women, has concluded what it describes as a highly successful year, made possible through strong community support and the commitment of its sponsors and members.
Chairperson Linda Smit expressed heartfelt appreciation to all those who contributed to the organisation’s achievements. She said the support and collaboration received throughout the year had been instrumental and transformative.
Special recognition was given to sponsors for their unconditional giving and belief in the organisation’s mission, as well as to the dedicated members of Team Strong Women, whose passion and hard work continue to inspire.
Looking ahead to 2026, the organisation is preparing to expand its impact within the community. Team Strong Women plans to intensify its efforts in addressing critical social challenges, including domestic violence, gender-based violence, substance abuse and education initiatives for people of all ages. The organisation remains committed to promoting safer, healthier and more resilient communities.
Smit emphasised that continued partnerships and community involvement will be key to achieving these goals. "By working together we hope to break down barriers, uplift disadvantaged communities and create lasting, positive change."
Team Strong Women has invited individuals and businesses who wish to support its work in the new year to contribute financially. The organisation also extended best wishes to all stakeholders for 2026.
