The SWD is gearing itself for the largest provincial martial arts championship ever.
The NMA-ISKA SWD Classic Sport Martial Arts Championship takes place on 19 and 20 March at the De Jager Sport Complex in Oudtshoorn.
Named the Klein Karoo Challenge 2010 this inter-provincial championship will be attended by over 250 fighters from six different provinces.
Official teams from the SWD, WP, Boland, West Coast, EP, Northern Cape and Gauteng will be competing for top ho-nours.
Participants can enter up to 16 different competition divisions ranging from fighting to power breaking, XMA, grappling, Tag team fighting, Kata and weapons, to name only a few.
This event is officially sanctioned by Sasma (South African Sport Martial Arts) that is a registered member of the Martial Arts and Games Commitee of South Africa and Sascoc.
