GEORGE NEWS - Cathy van Zyl, a George Herald reader, posted a question on the George Herald's Facebook page regarding obtaining stickers for people who need to use parking for the disabled.
She said she heard a rumour that the stickers were sold at a certain chemist, but an enquiry to the pharmacy revealed that they did not sell such stickers.
What you need:
1. Application form filled in by a doctor;
2. Doctor's official stamp with practice number;
3. Disabled person's ID book.
1. Hand in your application form at Traffic Services, Mission Street, Pacaltsdorp.
2. If the application is approved, the applicant will be contacted.
3. Once approval is granted, an amount of R56 is payable at the municipality, main building.
4. Upon receipt of payment, the applicant will receive the sticker.
