Update
GEORGE NEWS - A robbery took place at Merriman Café in Merriman Street this morning.
Two robbers - one of whom was armed with a firearm - held up a woman in the café at 09.40. The suspects stole cash and cigarettes and then fled the scene.
According to Southern Cape police spokesperson, Captain Malcolm Pojie, the suspects were spotted running along the train tracks in the direction of Thembalethu.
