GEORGE NEWSFLASH - The two men who robbed the co-owner of Merriman Café, Charmaine Engelbrecht, at gunpoint on Sunday were wearing balaclavas. The police were therefore unable to release a description of the suspects.
The men walked into the shop at 09:30 demanding cash and became aggressive when they saw she had her finger on the panic button.
“One of the men also took the victim's cellular phone, a Samsung Galaxy,” said Constable Rachel Hendriks of the George police on Monday.
