Update
GEORGE NEWS - Mopping-up operations are underway at the deserted NMU George Campus.
Teams are putting out small fires on the western side of the campus.
Heavily laden water tankers are entering the campus to assist in dousing the fires. The ACSA Cape Town airport fire engine is on duty at NMU.
Currently the wind, blowing in a westerly direction, is picking up.
