GEORGE NEWS - The EFF protest has come to a temporary halt after a police vehicle, a Njala, had a collision with a Ford Figo that was also part of the protest.
Protestors are waiting on the bridge in Nelson Mandela Boulevard between the CBD and the industrial area while the issue is being dealt with.
According to eyewitnesses on the scene the Njala drove into the side of the Ford.
