GEORGE NEWS AND VIDEO - The taxi leaders on the scene at the bus depot are waiting for the top brass of the Uncedo taxi association to give them direction.
Speakers are being set up to address the crowd.
The protesters are demanding that the mayor address them.
The taxi drivers want the provincial traffic police to leave George. They are shouting, “go back to Cape Town”.
All GO GEORGE services remain suspended until further notice.
Today is 3 days before the commemoration of the torching of the buses on 19 August 2015.
