Update
GEORGE NEWS - According to Police Spokesperson, Sgt Chris Spies, no injuries were reported when a silver Citroën caught fire on the N2 opposite the turnoff to Hoekwil at about 15:25 this afternoon.
Emergency services responded to the scene.
The three occupants managed to exit the vehicle. There were no other vehicles involved.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
The road has been re-opened to traffic.
