Single lane traffic on N2 Hoekwil due to car on fire
A car caught fire on the N2 towards Hoekwil near the Caltex Garage.

GEORGE NEWS AND VIDEO - One lane on the N2, direction Hoekwil, near the Caltex garage, has been closed to traffic due to a car that caught fire.

The lane closure was reported by George Municipality earlier this afternoon.

It is currently unclear how the incident happened and whether anyone has been hurt. George Herald is awaiting feedback from the police. 

In a video supplied to the George Herald, the vehicle is seen up in smoke with firefighters on the scene.
