Update
GEORGE NEWS - Local fitness coach and transformation icon Herschelle Joshua Jantjies is calling on his community for support as the voting for the Men's Health Cover Guy 2025 competition nears its close.
With public voting ending on Friday 18 July, time is running out to help him secure a spot in the top eight, and possibly the magazine's coveted cover.
Jantjies, who was selected as one of the top 20 finalists nationwide, is no stranger to inspiring change. From his gym, Ultra Fitt in George, to his fast-growing online following, he's helped countless individuals on their fitness journeys.
Who can forget the 'TikTok tannie' Hettie Langenhoven (60), whose remarkable progress went viral?
"I've lived on both sides," says Jantjies. "I was overweight; I lost the weight, and I've kept it off. I don't just talk fitness - I live it. This is not about a magazine cover. It's about showing people what's possible when you back yourself."
Born and raised in George, Jantjies says his goal is to be a light for others in smaller towns and communities, showing that big dreams are worth chasing.
Voting only takes a minute. The final eight contestants will be determined by public votes, and from there, the cover star will be crowned.
