GEORGE NEWS – Local fitness inspiration and much-loved coach, Herschelle Joshua Jantjies, has just been announced as one of the top 20 finalists in Men’s Health magazine’s Cover Guy 2025 competition.
This is a major achievement that could see him grace the cover of one of South Africa’s top health and fitness publications.
Now, it’s up to public voting to determine who makes it to the top eight, and ultimately, who lands the cover.
For those who know Herschelle, this comes as no surprise. Whether he’s transforming lives through fitness, like the now-famous "TikTok tannie" Hettie Langenhoven, or motivating others with his journey, he lives and breathes what he preaches.
“I’ve lived on both sides. I was overweight, I lost the weight, and I’ve kept it off. I don’t just talk fitness. I live it,” says Herschelle.
“I want to inspire others, especially from my hometown, to believe that big things are possible no matter where you come from.”
Earlier this year, Herschelle helped 60-year-old Hettie Langenhoven, who was struggling with mobility after Covid-19, get moving again. A journey that made headlines and went viral on TikTok, where the world got to meet the unstoppable "TikTok tannie".
From Ultra Fitt (his local training facility) to his growing online platforms, Herschelle continues to motivate young and old, proving that transformation is possible at any age and fitness level.
