ENTERTAINMENT - The Vetplantfees (Succulent Festival), an annual festival hosted by the Calitzdorp Succulent Society, showcases many of South Africa’s beautiful and rare succulents as well as succulents from all over the world.
This year the festival takes place on 20, 21 and 22 September at the Calitzdorp Station in the Klein Karoo, a region where many of the succulents, endemic to South Africa, can be seen in their natural environment.
Succulent enthusiasts who visit Calitzdorp during the festival, will be able to immerse themselves in a range of activities to discover the world of succulents.
Popular actress and entertainer, Lizz Meiring and De Krans Celler Master Christoff de Wet will team up for two succulent, delicious food and wine pairings at De Krans Wine Estate.
