GEORGE NEWS - The People’s Dispensary for Sick Animals (PDSA) is calling on the community to donate collars, leashes and harnesses to help care for pets in need.
During a recent visit, one of the PDSA’s furry patients came in for a check-up because her skin was dry.
“Our Vanessa checked her out and made sure she went home with food in her tummy, and a harness and leash too,” the organisation posted on Facebook.
Harnesses, collars and leashes are always needed at the PDSA, both for use in the clinic and to donate to responsible pet owners. They don’t have to be brand new, as long as they still work, the team will gladly take them.
Donations can be dropped off at the PDSA at 9 Pienaar Street, Conville, or the PDSA shop in Wellington Street.
