Update

GEORGE NEWS - The George Municipality continues to temporarily supply power to Wilderness, since Eskom's emergency power interruption since yesterday morning.

The power supply was supposed to be restored late yesterday, but Eskom reported a broken conductor on the 66kV line, supplying the substation and they indicated that repairs can only be done today.

The George Municipality will continue to temporarily supply power to Wilderness. Customers are urged to use electricity sparingly to enable George's temporary power supply to continue seamlessly.
