GEORGE NEWS - The body of a man that washed out on Wilderness beach at approximately 13:00 on Saturday afternoon, 7 April, has been identified as Louis Joubert (49), the fisherman who went missing on Saturday 31 March.
Joubert, from New Dawn Park, was fishing near the Gwaiing river mouth and is believed to have been knocked off the rocks by a wave during spring tide.
According to the Southern Cape police spokesperson, Captain Malcolm Pojie, the family identified him by his clothes and a bracelet.
