GEORGE NEWS & VIDEO - The George Lights Festival is underway this evening, Saturday 8 December. Crowds are being entertained by live music at Unity Park near the circle at the top of York Street. 

The festival lights will be switched on at 20:00 by Melvin Naik, mayor of George.

Well known artist Emo Adams will also participate in the festivities.
