GEORGE NEWS - A new feature for the 2018 Lights Festival hosted annually by George Municipality will be the Lights Festival Market Tent, a platform for local marketeers to showcase and sell their goods.
Co-sponsored by the ISP Group, the concept is based on the Entrepreneurs night market which happens the first friday of every month at Getafix Garden Cafe at the Botanical Gardens.
There will be a variety of goods for sale at the Lights Festival Market Tent – plants, arts and crafts, great food - as well as a relaxed and comfortable seating area away from the hustle and bustle, where you will still feel part of the Lights Festival and be able to listen to the music!
For more information and to book stalls for the Market Tent (space is limited) contact ISP on 082 566 1848 or email events@ispgroup.co.za.
“George Municipality is working hard to keep improving the programme for the Lights Festival every year and we hope that the Market Tent will be well received as something different,” said Iona Kritzinger Portfolio Councillor for Strategic Services and Chairperson of the Events Committee.
