GEORGE NEWS - Staff of George Hospital today paid their last respects to one of their colleagues, Sr Chantal Cherry, who passed away on 19 December.
Hospital staff formed a human chain outside the premises, waiting their turn to release flower petals on the hearse as it drove past.
George Hospital management expressed their heartfelt condolences to the family and colleagues of Cherry.
“This is an especially difficult time for all her family, colleagues and friends and we ask that you hold them in your thoughts and prayers,” reads a beautiful statement released this afternoon.
