Dancers from four local dance schools helped raise funds to sterilise about 100 domestic animals. A total of R54 000 will help the People's Dispensary for Sick Animals (PDSA) with mass sterilisation campaigns, to the benefit of Borcherds Paws and Cat Garden Route. Dance Mosaic - Dancing for Dogs is a dance show initiated by Abbi Geldenhuys of the Abbi Geldenhuys Academy of Ballet (Agab), in collaboration with other dance schools. This year marks the tenth production of the unique dance show fundraiser, with the next one planned for 2026. The performances last weekend at the George Arts Theatre included dance items by Agab, Melissa Page School of Dance, Marlise's School of Spanish Dance, and gumboot dancers Siya and the Boys. All proceeds were in aid of animal welfare.
